Terms of Service

Last Update: April 23, 2026

These Terms of Service govern access to Currency-Exchange.app, including the website, dashboard, API, documentation, billing, support, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for the information provided during signup, all activity under your account, and keeping login credentials and API keys secure. You must be able to form a binding contract and may not use the service if prohibited by applicable law.

2. API Access and License

Subject to these terms and your plan limits, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the API for lawful business or development purposes. We may issue, rotate, revoke, or limit API keys to protect the service, enforce plans, or respond to abuse.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to:

  • break the law, facilitate fraud, evade sanctions, or support unauthorized financial activity;
  • attack, scan, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service or other customers;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, copy, resell, or redistribute the API or rate data without permission;
  • circumvent rate limits, usage meters, payment controls, or account restrictions;
  • send personal, protected, or highly sensitive data that is not needed for currency conversion; or
  • misrepresent your integration, company, or relationship with Currency-Exchange.app.

4. Rate Data and Financial Decisions

Currency rates are provided for informational, operational, and application-development purposes. Exchange rates fluctuate continuously, and actual market, bank, card network, broker, and payment processor rates can differ. You are responsible for validating that rate data is appropriate for your use case and for any financial, accounting, tax, regulatory, or customer-facing decision you make with it.

5. Plans, Billing, and Refunds

Paid plans, usage credits, taxes, invoices, renewals, and cancellations are handled through the billing area or our payment provider. Fees are charged according to the plan or credit package selected at the time of purchase. Refund requests are reviewed under our Refund Policy.

6. Service Availability and Changes

We work to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. We may update endpoints, providers, plan limits, currencies, features, or documentation. When a material change affects active customers, we aim to give reasonable notice through the product, email, or documentation.

7. Customer Data and Privacy

Our use of personal information and API usage data is described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the data you send to the API and for ensuring your integration complies with laws that apply to your business.

8. Intellectual Property

Currency-Exchange.app, the website, API, documentation, logos, design, and software are protected by intellectual property laws. You keep ownership of your own applications and data, but you may not copy, modify, or use our brand or service materials except as allowed by these terms or written permission.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, fail to pay, create risk for the service, or use the API in a way that could harm Currency-Exchange.app, customers, or third parties. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion under our data deletion process.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DEVME LTD and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, trading losses, or business interruption arising from the service or rate data.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated date above shows when the page was last revised. Continued use of the service after updated terms are posted means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing Law and Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules. For questions, contact us through the contact page.
